How Do I Log into the MUSE website?

 
Already a registered user?
 To log in click on the "Log in" button on the home page or click on the "Members" tab on the top menu bar.
 
Enter your username and password.
 
If you do not remember your username or you password, click on the button "Request new password" and enter your email address in the field that pops up. Instructions to log in and re-set your password will be emailed to you. Simply click on the link contained in the email.

 
Need to Register as a New User?
 To register as a new user click on the "New User" button. 
Enter your MUSE Membership number, First Name, Last Name, Job Title and email address. Click "Submit". Instructions to log into the website and choose a password will be emailed to you. If you do not know your MUSE Membership number you can request it from the Membership Manager.

 How Do I Search the MUSE Database? 

You can access information in the MUSE database for all Facility and Commercial members. You can find company names and details as well individual users names and email addresses.
  • Log into the website with your username and password.
  • On the left side menu click on "Member Search".
  • You can search by "User Search", "Facility Search" or "Vendor Search"
  • Use the search field tools to narrow your search results.
  • If you so not want to narrow your search do not enter any criteria into the search fields.
  • Click on the "Search" icon to produce your search results.
  • Want to save your search? Click on "Download as CSV" and your search results will be saved.

How Do I Find the MUSE Forums?

  • Log into the website with your username and password
  • On the left side menu click on "Forums"
  • You'll see the latest questions being asked by the MEDITECH community and the answers from MEDITECH users and experts.
  • You can click on the link to subscribe to forum updates. You'll receive an email in your inbox every time there is a new topic or update in the forum.
  • Or you can click on the RSS logo to subscribe to the RSS feed. You don't have to log into the MUSE website to view the latest updates. You can subscribe and view the latest updates right in your browser. 


How Do I Download the Attendee List for a conference?

Once registration is opened, the attendee lists are posted weekly until the week prior to the event when they are posted daily until the final day of the event. To download the attendee list:
 
  • Log into the website with your username and password.
  • On the left side menu click on "Library".
  • Select "MUSE Event" or International Conference Files"
  • Select the city and year of the desired conference.
  • Download the .xls file.
*Helpful Hint:  Commercial Member's membership numbers begin with 10V or 11V while Facility Member's membership numbers begin with 10H or 11H.  The "Membership ID" column can be used to quickly and accurately sort the attendee list to ensure you are marketing to your target audience only.

How Do I Post my PowerPoint in the MUSE library?

  • Log into the website with your username and password.
  • On the left side menu click  "Library".
  • Select "International Conference Files" or "MUSE Event Files"
  • Select the year and the name of the city
  • Select the sub category: "Educational Presentations"    
  • Click on "Add a Document"
  • Select the PowerPoint file on your computer
  • Click "Upload"
  • Give your Presentation a name in the "Name*" field and provide some details in the "Presentation Details and Abstract" field. Tell our members about your Presentation, who you are, and how they can contact you.
  • Click "Submit"
  • You can also send your PowerPoint Presentation directly to MUSE through this page. http://www.museweb.org/muse_drop_box_files_and_graphics We'll post it in the MUSE library for you.

How Do I Download a PowerPoint Presentation I saw at a conference I attended?

  • Log into the website with your username and password.
  • On the left side menu click  "Library".
  • Select "International Conference Files" or "MUSE Event Files"
  • Select the year and the name of the city
  • Click on a catagory you're interest in: "Educational Presentations, Summits, CIO Executive Institute, etc"  
  • PowerPoints are posted under these catagoy headings.  
  • Scroll down till you find the PowerPoint Presentation you're interested in.
  • Click on the hyperlink title and the PowerPoint will download to your computer.

 How Do I Update my Profile?

  • Log into the website with your username and password.
  • The page you are viewing is "My Profile"
  • Click on "edit"
  • Scroll down and review your information for accuracy.
  • Complete any information fields that are blank
  • Select a picture to upload as your profile picture
  • Click "submit"

How can the Career Center help me?

 
Through the new Career Center section of the MUSE website, job seekers and employee searchers alike have access to the most effective job searching and recruiting  capabilities to find a perfect match. The MUSE Career Center will focus on bringing employers in the healthcare field with eligible qualified candidates.
 
Job seekers will find a unique opportunity to connect with employers and recruiters who are posting jobs specific to their areas of focus. Candidates can post their resumes anonymously, search through job postings, and setup personal job alerts.  
 
By using the recruitment service, employers are given exceptional access to the MUSE membership.  An employer’s job posting will reach a large number of highly skilled passive and active job seekers.
 
The MUSE Career Center distinguishes itself from generalist job boards in a number of ways. These include:
  • A highly targeted focus on employment opportunities in a certain sector, location, or demographic.
  •  Anonymous resume posting and job applicationenabling job candidates to stay connected to the employment market while maintaining full control over their confidential information.
  • An advanced Job Alert system that notifies candidates of new opportunities matching their own preselected criteria.
  • Access to industry-specific jobs—and top-quality candidates—often not seen on Monster, Career Builder or Hot Jobs.
 

How Do I Register for an Event? 

 
You must be logged into the MUSE website to register for a conference, webcast or purchase a exhibitor booth.
 
 I'm logged in now, how do I register for a MUSE Event?
 
 
  • Click on the "Events" icon on the top menu bar and look down the left side menu to find the event you're interested in and click on that event.
 
 
  • On the Event page click on the button "Register Online" - this will take you to the registration forms. Or simply scroll down.
  • The registration forms are at the bottom of every MUSE Event page.
 
 
 
  • Click on the the registration form you want to use - to open the form.
 
 
On the registration form you will see instructions at the top of the page
 
  • Type the part of your email address after the @ sign into the email search box.
  • Click on "Search". This will bring up all the users for your organization registered in the MUSE database.
 
 
  • Click on "select user" to choose the name of the person you want to register for the event.
  • You can also see who has already been registered in your organization. By clicking "select user" you will populate the registration form with the users First name, Last name, Email address, Job title and Address etc.
  •  You must click on "confirm" to confirm that this is the person you want to register for the event.
 
 
  • Scroll down and review the details of the registration information, make any changes and select any options. 
 
What if I don't see the name of the person I want to register using the email search?
 
  • If you do not see the name of the person you want to register using the email search tool, then that name is not already in the MUSE database.
  • You can register a person for the event and add their name to the MUSE database at the same time.  Enter your MUSE Membership number and click "confirm" 
 
 
  • Don't know you MUSE membership number? Contact registration@museweb.org
  • Complete the information fields below by typing in the new First name, Last name, Email address, Job title and Address.
 
 
  • Complete all the required information fields for the attendee.
  • Scroll down and enter your credit card information and click the "Submit" button.
  • You receive confirmation of your registration by email from info@museweb.org. If the confirmation does not arrive in you inbox, check your junk mail or spam folder.
  • The new user will receive an email with instructions to log into the website and re-set their password.
