This presentation is intended to provide guidance in the RXM Drug Dictionary cleanup. Some of the issues addressed are which of the more than 40,000 over-the-counter products should be utilized within the RXM/AOM Drug Dx? Which situations need to be considered when deciding whether to keep/delete a product? Will these products be used within the NUR/PCS? POM? Which process is best utilized for your site? Mass inactivate routine or individual deletion of products? Reviewed from both a nursing perspective (Medication Reconciliation) and from a physician point of view (CPOE).
