Presenter: Mary Moewe is the Regional Account Executive, Northeast Region, Iatric Systems, managing daily integration operations, and 11,000 interfaces at 900 plus customer sites, and over 75 project managers, project coordinators, implementation and support programmers and technicians. Mary has been in the healthcare industry over 25 years, earning her start in the industry as a Blood Bank Medical technologist MT(ASCP) in the early 1980’s - training students and colleagues on how to use an automated Laboratory System, and PCS (the IBM Patient Care System), one of the first Hospital Information Systems implemented. Mary has undergraduate degrees in Medical Technology and Business, and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Management. She also completed a two year Post-Graduate Fellowship from Duke University, Durham, NC. She is a CPHIMS, PMP and an FACHE in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mary has worked as a Director at HCA Corporate offices in Nashville, a Senior Internal Healthcare Systems Consultant at both Vanderbilt and Duke University Medical Centers for more than 16 years, and a Patient Care Systems Coordinator and Medical Technologist (ASCP) at Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania.
