Topic: Patient Throughput and Supporting Technologies

This Site Visit will feature an overview of the tools and processes that are making the patient throughput successful today. TriStar Skyline Medical Center runs MEDITECH Magic 5.6.7.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center, a 233-bed facility with an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center, is nationally recognized for its Neuroscience Center, is Middle Tennessee’s only CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation center and offers cancer care through Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute with ACR accreditation in Radiation Oncology, part of HCA’s global network of cancer experts. Additionally, TriStar Skyline is the first hospital in Tennessee to be named a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency heart and stroke care for people throughout Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. TriStar Skyline also provides psychiatric services at TriStar Skyline Madison Campus, a 121-bed behavioral health facility offering treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues among adolescents, adults and seniors. Facility: TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center
Date & Time: Tuesday, May 28, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Topic: The ePrescribe Journey

This Site Visit showcases the ePrescibe process, from where the hospital started and where they are today. Attendees will also learn about the challenges and successes along the way. TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center runs MEDITECH Magic 5.6.7.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for 40 years. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission, is home to the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County, and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Provisional Level III Designated Trauma Center. The newly constructed Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville features a six-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), spacious maternity suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding services. Tristan Hendersonville also offers emergency services, cardiology, neurology, orthopedic, surgical and wound care services.

This Site Visit features a look at the new EDM indicators in action and builds that support enhanced patient care.TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center runs MEDITECH Magic 5.6.7.

Facility: HCA Data Center Tour
Date & Time: Tuesday, May 28, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Topic: This unique tour will showcase the HCA data center, and include:

  • Network Operations Center (24x7 infrastructure monitoring)
  • Data Floor (server room – compute, network, storage, power, containment, cooling)
  • Parts Room (Inventory management)
  • Loading Dock (Equipment intake, receipt process, asset management)
  • CRAH Galleries (Overview of Data Floor Cooling)
  • OAHU (Overview of air handlers, RO, mechanicals)
  • Chillers (Overview of chilled water plant, mechanicals)
  • DRUPS (Overview of electrical plant, DRUPS units, substation)

Bus will pick up at the Presidential Portico in the Convention Center at 12:45 pm.
