Join us as the PediNotes team demonstrates the utilization of MEDITECH’ s interoperability to provide a new type of experience for the NICU clinician. PediNotes was developed in a MEDITECH facility and has been deployed in both a Client Server and Expanse environment. PediNotes’ design reflects the natural process of how caregivers work, interact and communicate to provide a pediatric-focused end user experience. Electronic CPOE and documentation for neonatal/pediatric patients and maternal consultations are created and integrated within Meditech. PediNotes provides neonatal and pediatric specific functionality including nutrition and medication formularies, growth charts, respiratory management, subspecialty support, real-time lab notifications and alerts, and in-program physician billing with custom billing rules.
Data tracking of clinical events includes apnea, bradycardia, NAS scores and Infant-Driven Feeding. PediAnalytics provides in-program real-time data analytics and warehousing for creation of dashboards and reports as well as data extraction to the Vermont Oxford Network. PediNotes Mobile incorporates laboratory review and acknowledgement, verbal order and note review/signature, clinical photography and videography.
