Improving the MEDITECH EHR Experience with the Arch Collaborative

When:  Jan 26, 2023 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)
The Arch Collaborative is a clinician-led effort to improve the EHR experience for clinician end users. The Arch Collaborative uses a standard survey and benchmarking to help healthcare provider organizations better understand how their EHR satisfaction and experience compares with others like them and identify and apply evidence based best practices that other healthcare providers have implemented to improve their EHR experience.

Jason Hess, VP of Provider Success, at KLAS Research, will share evidence-based best practices gleaned from nearly 300 healthcare provider organizations and over 340,000 clinicians who’ve now participated in the Arch Collaborative. He will specifically touch on:
  • The continuous improvement process that healthcare provider organizations can implement to help their clinicians better succeed with the EHR
  • Which EHR improvement initiatives have merited the biggest jump in EHR satisfaction improvement
  • Which specialties have shown the least improvement in EHR satisfaction comparing one Arch Collaborative measurement over another
  • The importance of repeat measurements vs. single measurements in improving EHR satisfaction
Priscilla Frase, CMIO at Ozarks Healthcare, will share the significant EHR satisfaction improvement her organization has experienced since implementing a new EHR. She will also walk through the revamped training program clinicians in her organization participated in, and the positive impact this has had on their EHR satisfaction scores.
