What is a Webcast?

Webcast

A webcast is at time-efficient, economical venue to attend an exciting MUSE educational session. It’s a conference on the Internet. A webcast is an online meeting and teleconference where users can hear presenters (and ask questions) through the telephone and watch a power point presentation using the internet. This format allows for multiple participants at each site for an affordable registration fee.  Webcasts allow people to share information without actually having to travel, thereby saving time and money.

Once I have paid for my site, how many people can participate?
There is no limit. You can gather as many people as you wish – setup a big screen and speaker phone for all to enjoy! However, if you plan to use more than one computer or site, each site must be paid for and registered.
What is the website address and phone number for the webcast?
Once you have paid, we will email mail log-instructions to you the day before the webcast.
Is there a limit to the number of sites that can participate?
Yes, so you will want to register early!
What is the refund policy?
  • Refunds must be requested via email to webcast@museweb.org.
  • No refunds will be issued seven days after the webcast date.
  • Refunds will be issued for technical difficulties only.
