As MEDITECH hospitals embrace innovation, IT leaders face a key challenge: adopting transformative technologies – like AI – without disrupting the stability and performance of existing systems.

The MUSE Executive Institute gathers forward-thinking healthcare executives to explore how to sustain mission-critical operations while driving strategic advancements. Learn how to align innovation with operational demands, define AI for clinical and administrative workflows, and set realistic expectations for outcomes.

With privacy, interoperability, and security top of mind, we’ll share strategies to mitigate risk, deliver ROI, and move forward with clarity, caution, and confidence.

I love attending the Executive Institute! It gives me the opportunity to network with peers while discussing current and future healthcare challenges. Plus, it allows me the chance to explore real solutions with vendors in focused, one-on-one conversations.

The Executive Institute has been instrumental to deepening our relationships in the MUSE community — from the reverse trade show, meals, golf, and casual conversations, we’ve gotten to know so much more about the needs, problems, and solutions of the MEDITECH community. It’s a great way to start the year focused on delivering value to the member organizations.

The MUSE Executive Institute offers a rare and invaluable space for MEDITECH healthcare IT leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue, forge strategic relationships, and explore innovative solutions. This event has consistently sparked collaborations that directly support our mission—most recently contributing to the successful rollout of our Traverse Exchange initiative and advancing AI integration across our clinical workflows. It’s a must-attend for any executive committed to digital transformation in healthcare.

The MUSE Executive Institute offers a rare combination of strategic insight, candid conversations, and meaningful connections. The ability to engage directly with MEDITECH leadership, collaborate with industry peers, and explore innovative solutions with vendor partners provides tangible value for my organization. Every year, I leave with ideas and partnerships that make a real impact back home.

This is an amazing event that allows you to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnerships in a unique environment. In 2025, this resulted in an engagement that would directly support our organization with a major active project.
Sam Fielding, Chief Information Officer, Southlake Regional Health Centre
Joe Farr
The MUSE Executive Institute facilitates some of the most meaningful conversations I have both with vendor partners and MEDITECH leadership.  This alone makes it worth attending, and the top-notch presentations by my peers paired with unique networking opportunities truly sets it apart as a top-tier event.
Joe Farr, Director of Information Systems, King's Daughters Medical Center
Sarah Ludlow
As a relatively new member to MUSE before the 2025 Executive Institute, I found this meeting exceeded the ROI that I was expecting. Establishing relationships with CIOs and institutional decision makers was easy; that's just not an opportunity provided at many other events.
Sarah Ludlow, MBA, MPH, Senior Director, Partnerships, Artera
Randall Brandt
The MUSE Executive Institute was a valuable chance to meet with other healthcare leaders and have focused talks with vendors about their products and the value they bring. The connections and ideas I took away have strengthened my leadership and brought real benefits to my organization and the new projects we’re working on.
Randall Brandt, Physician Assistant - IT Provider Liaison, Mile Bluff Medical Center
Krystle Andrews
The MUSE Executive Institute is a valuable resource to our company. The most valuable part is being able to meet face-to-face with several different hospital leaders and decision makers at one time, in one trip. Often, as a vendor, we travel to each hospital individually, but with the Executive Institute, we are able to meet with multiple hospitals in one location and have quality time to engage between sessions. I highly recommend the MUSE Executive Institute!
Krystle Andrews, Senior Sales Executive, Surgical Information Systems
Joel Benware
As a former community hospital CIO and now CEO of Acmeware, I know how valuable the MUSE Executive Institute is. It’s a unique opportunity for hospital leaders and MEDITECH partners to connect, share ideas, and build the trust that drives success. In today’s healthcare environment, strong relationships matter more than ever—and this event is where those lasting partnerships begin.
Joel Benware, CEO, Acmeware
Tito Perez
There is something for every healthcare Leader at the MUSE Executive Institute. Program topics are relevant, networking events insightful, and vendor meetings are educational discussions, less product sales pitch. Whether you are a newly appointed leader, or a seasoned executive, there is always something to learn from each other. I always look forward to this event and excited on what I will discover next about our healthcare industry.
Tito Perez, Corporate Director Enterprise Applications, Emanate Health
